i have new umd game disk and my psp is asking to update it.if i update the psp, the games which are in the memory card will support further after updating the version?

Anyway, after the update, your old games will run exactly the same, if not a little bit beter.

You should go to the Sony web site to download the updated frimware. You'll also find the instruction on how to do the update at the same location.
