bose wont work?

i have a bose cd and radio which i spilled coffe over today , mopped up most of the spill but some went into the unit (not alot) the radio works the cd spins but its not playing and making a funny clicking noise,,does anyone have any advice plaease? i am so fed up,,

knowing the cost of that unit,i would claim your insurance,,coffee can eat through the pcb as will coke,if its gotten on to the lazer,then it will have to be replaced,

Yes, If you have accidental cover on you home contents insurance you can make a claim, but you will then lose your no claims bonus, weigh up the cost of buying a new unit against the cost of your excess and more expensive premiums. Ps liquids and electricity don't mix, so keep them well apart, simples.
