my hotpoint aquarius dishwashwer fdw60 has stopped mid cycle?

my Hotpoint Aquariusdishwasher fdw60 stopped on the wash cycle and won't move on. I have emptied the water but it still won't move from where it is stuck midcycle. Any ideas what is wrong ?
