i live in a first floor flat and my guttering is blocked with what looks like grass now i have a ladder but need some supports or tools to clear this without breaking my neck any ideas?

ask ur local window cleaner 30 quid.easy to do urself.up ladder get a person to foot the bottom of it as not to slip.no tools pull grass upwards u will find it matted altogether and comes out in a complete lenght.move ladder along as ness.

Do a search of www.hse.gov.uk Health and safety do a search for the pdf.....or if you have problems enter in search engine Setting right angle for ladder and select the hse pdf on my search it was the first one on the page that came up. I'ts a pdf saveable.
