The floor vac portion of my dyson has cracked just below the foot pedal. It is a large crack that makes it impossible to step on the peddle effectively. Is it possible to replace this piece?

Hi Karen, yes it is possible to replace this, but it includes the clutch and the clutch cover will have to be removed to allow you to disconnect the drive belt from the motor. Once you have this off, the housing comes off by removing the two lilac circlips at each side. Contact me through ebay 'gordons132' if you need more help.
