how can i make the lens come out of my camera? It seems to be stuck!?

i can't make the lens come out and I feel so tempted to stick something in and help it come out... but i need some pro suggestions first. It seems like it is stuck!

I had a similar problem with my nikon digital camera.

Try taking out the battery, fully charging it and then put it back in the camera. Turn the camera on and see if that helps.
