Sharp XE-A102Regis"Z" Mode only reads "----" on screen...does not function?

Was attempting to add tax to department when this affected the "Z' Mode. Z does not respond with "----" simply beeps every time you hit any key

Oh dear. It looks like you have programmed a secret code for Program mode. If you know what it is, type the code and press CASH (TL). If you don't, you will need to program it out. Sorry, but Sharp do not allow us to give this out as it can allow staff to alter sales figures. If you do not have this information, C-tech has the manual with the over-ride in it here:
