how can i get the key to turn in the ignition?

ignition won't turn when key is inserted in. the lever is in park won;t move out of park even though brake peddle is pushed down

did you try to turn the steering wheel. Make it go both right and left. some times the ignition is aligned with the steering wheel. then try to turn the key. Try it with keey in ignition and then not in ignition.
