Remove the sealband from the front of the machine. A flat bladed screwdriver is all that is required. Easy done if you locate the spring section of the seal band then just lever out.
Remove top of machine, just two screws at the back then juggle to free top.
Access to rear drum seal now possible. Old seal can be removed by just pulling spring away and pulling old seal out.
Refit new seal starting at door lock area and then manipulate lip over fixed drum edge. Quite difficult to start but once you get going the edge almost clips itself in.
Pass seal spring over new seal and then again starting from door lock area, tease the spring back into its groove. Took two people 5 minutes with one maintaining spring tension and other teasing the spring over the new seal and into place.
Outer seal then clips back into washer front and spring holder is just slipped back into its groove.
Replace top of machine.
Just done it in 90 minutes with a little help from my wife.
