I would like to know how to remove the agitator from wash machine?
I would like to clean out the base under the agitator of my simpson esprite 550 washing machine. It has never been pulled apart and I dont know the correct way to dismantle it.
There is a 10 mm hexagon head bolt down the bottom of the agitatorr tube. You need a 10mm socket on a long extension to undoe it then pull agitator up.

leave it alone,there is no need to clean it,as it is always left in clean water,
