i have forgot pin to re register handset?

handset has failed to work after having worked for years it appears to need to be registered but i dont know the pin

Your pin is 0000 by default on most phones.

Press and hold the locate button on the base station until it beeps.

Locate the register menu on the phone handset (prob best to get this ready first)

Enter your pin before the base station "times out"

How do expect anyone else to know your pin number on your handset when you don't know it. I would have thought that you could guess the number, just like we have to guess what sort of phone you're on about.
