This machine, when new in 2007, had an almost silent spin under most washing loads. All I could hear from it was the gently changing whine from the electronic commuted motor drive. For this electronics engineer, a rather pleasant sound!

At some point, a couple of years ago, the silent spinning stopped and the machine now shakes the floor and generally makes a fuss over it's spin cycle.

I would like to examine how it's self-balancing mechanism works.

Does anybody have a service manual?

I'd like to get it into Test Mode to see what functions that offers by way of testing.
