My car has had the battery removed and the radio is now in 'safe' mode. I do not have the serial number which I understand I need to obtain the code. I have tried to take the front panel off of the CD/radio to locate the serial number but am unable to.
TWO QUESTIONS

1. How else can I locate the serial number of the radio?

2. What is the code for a Vauxhall Meriva Siemens CDR 2005?

Main Dealer or a Decode Service who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

unfortunately the code is not available for free (using the Serial Number ) from anywhere on the Internet.
