Need a radio code?

I have a mk 2 mondeo fitted with a ford 6000 CD / Radio. I've just had the clutch replaced and since I collected it the stereo / radio does not work... It's asking for CODE---- on the display.
I don't have a code for it :(

Any help / advise will be very much appreciated

would you be able to tell me where I'm likely to find the serial number ? I presume it's going to be on the back of the stereo!! eeek....
