What could be the problem?

I have a 2000 GE jvm1650wb 003 microwave and when it starts cooking after like 15 or so seconds..it starts to make a loud short circuit type of noise. When i stop it and restart its ok again for like 15-30 seconds..and it starts doing the same noise again. How can i fix it? please help.

what are you cooking in? sounds like you putting in to the oven that you should not use, is there any water in the oven,, just even a little drop.
