Hi, had the same problem ... press and hold 'on/off' & 'start/cancel' buttons together until it comes up as 'doff' on the display ... worked for me after a bit of tinkering and almost paying for the info!

I think test must come up by pressing the two buttons together when turning a wash cycle on - poor design as easy to do.
