Fridge is leaking?

Hi I have a PLF 250A Proline fridge which is leaking. Do you know how to solve the problem.

Hi ! The only fridges I know that use water are the American Style food centers and if it were one of these you would have said...therefore because water is not used in fridges its more likely to be the drain hole in the rear of the cabinet which is blocked. You should have a gully along the back of the unit and a hole in the base of it to allow the defrosted water to run out, if this hole gets blocked with anything such as small bits of paper the water will run out into the fridge. Use a thin piece of wire such as a coat hanger and clear the hole out. If the hole goes straight down the wire will go in quite a long way but if the hole goes straight back then it may only go in about 10 cm or so before it hits the down pipe, so dont force it in. Test it by running a small amount of water in the gully and see if it runs away. The water runs into a disipator tray that sits on top of the compressor but it will only hold a small amount so dont pour too much in the gully when testing or you could flood the floor. www.selfix-uk.co.uk
