How do I repair a tear in my vinyl futon? The tear is right along the seam. Either the thread starting coming loose or the tear is just almost perfect to the seam.

get a piece of vinyl same colour put glue on it ,let it dry,smear glue on the inside of tear (poke finger thru the hole. carefully push patch thru the hole ,flatten patch out and press to the inside othe tear (so the patch is inside,and line up the tear before the glue sets.) If any patch shows thru it wil be the same colour as original vinyl and patch will re-inforce the tear.
