open the door, see the silver/gold cover plate that fits over the lock and latch" it has 2 screws ,one on the top and one on the bottom, of the cover plate , unscrew them, take the cover plate off, now you will see (1) screw just under the lock barrel, unscrew that and push the barrel out, if your getting a new barrel, just make sure its the same lenth as the old one , you will see how they work when you take it out, its a easy job..
