i have a pair of patent leather mid calf lace up doc marten boots that have zippers on either side of each boot that start at the top of the foot and run up the sides right along side the holes where the laces are...all four zippers are broken...defective...i purchased the boots this way (couldnt refuse the price) i figured i could fix the zippers somehow...someway....so here i am...wondering what did i get myself into ????...i thought of just sewing them closed as they dont have to be functional...but not sure the teeth will stay shut...please...any advice will be greatly appreciated...thanks so much!!!
