how do I join a soldered copper pipe?

how do I correctly solder a joint for copper piping?
john herrett, September 2006
clean both joints with wire wool/pipe cleaning tool apply flux to both joints with flux brush then heat both joints moving blow torch around joints then when hot enough move blowtorch and touch solder on joint which will melt solder to joint (capillary action)15mm of solder for 15mm joint 22mm solder for 22mm joint. don't heat it to much or it gos black and you never get a joint. you can always add more flux as your heating ,make solder run better and not blacken to much. make sure there is no water in pipe or you'll never get a good joint. have fun....
