failed on rear fog lights, bit confused as it looks like the fog lights are at the TOP of the cluster, and working! But the two red lights at the bottom of the cluster dont appear to do anything. On finding the fog light switch found that they operate the top lights too! Think the M.O.T station seen my missus coming. Can anyone please tell me if i have found the fog lights and what are the two lower red lights for. Failure points were. Offside rear fog lamp not working Rear fog lamp tell tale not working. if you cant see a tell tale on the switch or the dash display then look for a fuse blown

Their are bulbs their, not reflectors. Apparantley youroff-side rear fog lamp at least must be working to pass the M.O.T thats why you could have a blank on the left.

I had checked the bulbs in both clusters. they look fine. would it be a good idea to try a definite working bulb in the mentioned lights or is the watts to consider. Still cant find out wether the fog tell tale is in the switch or on the instrument panel. thanks for the quick reply fellas

top lights are usually stop/tail lights,bottom red lights are usually fog lights,sometimes one side fog light is blanked off,usually the left,would start by removing the rear cluster and checking your bulbs

I dont have a zafira but I assume the bits at the bottom are just reflectors...if both fogs work and the light on the dash comes on when the switch is pressed (the telltale)...take it back...don't argue ,just say its working now and show them
