How can I mend my car's tape deck (1994 Nissan Sentra)? When I put in a tape it, it tries to autoreverse the tape a couple of times, then spits it out without playing it. I have tried the old trick of repeatedly shoving a tape in, but it doesn't work. The tape deck has outsmarted me. Does anyone out there know how to fix it?

remove the unit from the car and replace the rubber drive belts. check for pieces of label or junk in the works.
