I have a Matsui DV3 freeview bbox. I have re-scanned for new channels since I moved house. The box has found the channels, and is telling me they are new channels in the user guide, but I am unable to view them! Does anyone know why the box is recognising the new channels but will not allow me to view them? Or if there is a magic way to see the channels?!
Any advice would be great!

Jenny I bought a matsui dv 3 and when i first scanned the channels
only got some bbc channels such as news 24 etc to view.
All the channels were listed but very few would pick up a picture.
I then had a new digital ariel fitted and now get all the channels. plus uk gold etc. via a top up card.
i lose the channels occasionally and have to pull the power button out for a few seconds and if that dont work rescan.
But are you sure your existing ariel is up to standard.

i have moved to wales and so this means that it is all a slightly different channel and so now i have no tv loaded at all and i am very confused i want it to work im too poor to buy a new 1

I have the same problem, And surfing the net this seems to be a common problem with this model. We had lots of channels but not all of them, I later unplugged the freeview box and had to re-scan, This resulted in loss of channels I already had and replaced them with the words "New channel please wait" I;ve been waiting Matsui WHERES MY CHANNELS?!?!. This is from what I have read a software problem with Matsui's boxes. This is not so much a answer then a rant I realise but I feel your pain Jenni. If I locate the soloution I will post it here.

Are they things like Discovery and UK Gold? Because they are subscription channels which can't be viewed on a Freevirew box. You need a box that can handle Top Up TV and a subscription to TUTV. If not try a new post with a list of what you can't view and what you mean by 'can't view'.
