my microwave turntable has stopped turning, what can i do

before you do all that,make sure that you discharge the capacitor or you could kill yourself,i wish non micro wave engineers on this site do not give advice,they risk the lives of people who dont have a clue whats waiting for them inside the microwave.though the capacitors have a bleed resistor in them,they still can harbour a very high voltage.on your own heads be it,

remove plug from wall socket,remove outer cover,normally 4 screws at back and one at side,slide cover backwards to remove.remove glass table and turn spindle inside cabinet.you now have to tilt machine on side because turntable motor is at bottom of cabinet,make sure to replace with same voltage and turn speed ,info on motor

replace the turntable motor?.If its a cheaper one buy a new one!
