power working but will not programme at all when pressing prog button?

my kenwood dishwasher kdw wont work either! door doesnt seem to closeproperly and i cant select a program nothing comes up on display?! i have manual but it doesnt help? can any one please help me on here?

if the door isn't shutting properly this could be your issue.remove the fascia panel and check door microswitch/latch
