BSA Goldstar Air Rifle?

The magazine was put in the wrong way and i managed to get it out. Now the under lever wont close the last 2 inches and is very stiff.Also where can i get a workshop manual online.
Any help with this would be much appreciated

hi guys ive had the same prob with a mates gun, ive stripped it down and removed the pellets, I removed the spring from the underlever to the trigger but cant suss out how refits to the trigger unit could anyone help whos repaired these guns before, maybe sum1 who has one could help

Your goldstar has pellets that have fallen into the breech and been chewed up.Take the action out of the stock and try and clear all debris until you can cock the underlever.Lets hope you havent damaged the probe forcing the underlever.

Vaguely remember having the same problem with mine about 15yrs ago. If I remember correctly putting the magazine in the wrong way round caused a peice of wire to break ( looks a bit like a streatched out paper clip) its some kind of sacraficial safety device desighned to break if you do something silly like put the magazine in the wrong way round. I just wrote to BSA and they sent me a new one, free of charge, fitted that and 15years later my goldstar still works. Take the stock off and you'll see the bit of wire on either side of where the underleaver hinges. If you can find an exploded diagram on the net somewhere you can get a part number an if you're lucky BSA might still make them.
