Hoover fridge (top) freezer (bottom) - freezer OK, fridge stopped?

Last week my Hoover D505UF fridge (on top) freezer (on bottom developed a problem.
Freezer working perfectly well
Fridge has stopped cooling (my beer is warm)
Can you explain this weird situation.

Motor etc at the back seems fine. Vacuumed all the dust off
Fridge still not working; Freezer keeps on trucking

In the top section of the frige on the lower left and lower right there are vents that let the cold air blow up from the feeezer these can become blocked by crud etc. The two cover just pop off by gently pulling from the top. Check that the holes are not blocked.

If you take 2 screws from the panel at the back of the freezer(bottom) and remove that panel you will see the evaporator element along with other components including a fan. That fan forces cold air from the freezer up to the fridge to make it cold. I suspect that the fan is not working.
