hi (POWER OFF)have you taken th motor off? when you have where the wires connect to the brushes on the back the wire pushes on to a plate pull the wire off the plate will then push back and pull out with the brush connected to it if the brush is very small that should be the fault new ones are normally about an inch long anymore probs msdapudsey1@msn.com
