the lead is black on mine,it has small round plug.
If you are changing stereo you will need iso adaptor for ariel,some stereos have an iso lead unit some don't,there is a plate you can get to fill in gap if you need one lots on ebay,halfords,motorworld.

It is connected to the back of radio-------- in many Ford unts it is a Green coloured lead
