when i push the start button, the water starts to fill then stops then starts, it does this a couple of times then it just starts beeping and not doing anything.

It beeps to tell you there is an error. You need to read the error code showing when it beeps. The lights along the top row will change and you need to write down exactly which lights are on & which are off along the top row. Counting from left to right. Post the result back here & I will tell you what the error is to check.
