logik dab clock radio lcrdab10?

Yesterday i bought logik dab radio and when its on standby it makes a clicking noise,when i turn the mains off and then turn it back on the noise goes, is this normal or is there problem with the radio?

I have exactly the same problem with this Logik DAB unit, so I guess it is a built-in 'annoyance'. That, coupled with a display that lights the bedroom up at night, has tempted me to return it for another make. Shame really as the sound is excellent.
