switch on ok motor trys to work but seems to be jamming, wheel where pully belt is seems free, belt ok, starts to turn but seems to judder a bit then stops.
did notice a few sparks from motor,checked the brushes they seem ok,turned motor via belt and it seems free. HELP

Hi ck,
Changed brushes to eliminate them.
motor started turning (missis said it should turn faster) and then green flashes from down by motor, and then tripped eletricity

how long is the carbon bit in the motor brush?.10mm or less means its worn out.they should be about 40mm long when new
