baxi bahama 100 combi boiler?

it seems to be workin fine but whenever i turn the heating on or the hot water the boiler kicks in for like 10 secs then the heat goes off but it still makes the sound to show that the heatings on. if that makes sense. i would really apreciate some help as i know nothing about boilers.
thanks
