It's a desktop model. You can easily open the case to see the inside.

You can also look at the back to see if there are any audio jacks.

IF there is a sound card, BUT it's not recognised, do as follow:
Turn the computer OFF. UNPLUG it and make sure that the green LED inside is off.
Remove the card and put it back in it's expention slot.
Plug the computer and start it.
Let Windows find and configure the card.

If Windows still cant find the card, remove the probably faulty card.

If there are no sound card installed, or you removed a faulty one, you need to buy one and install it inside.

You can get a new basic sound card in the $15 to $30 range. It will probably come with a CD containing some drivers and some mostly useless additional programms.
A second hand one can be bough for less than $12. Very probably without any CD.

If you run Windows, it should detect it automaticaly and will very probably find at least a basic driver for it.
Windows can automaticaly search online to find the needed driver if it don't find a suitable one localy.

If you can identify the card's brand, you can go on the maker's web site and search for the model there.

Drivers for all hardwares are ALWAYS available FREE on the maker's site.

Anybody who asks you any fee to get a driver is a crook. There is also the risk that you get some malware packaged with the driver from those source.
