bad smell?

Why do we get a bad smell from sink plughole when the washing machine is on although we have u bend and have put mr muscle down sink plughole ?

check in between the creases and around the washer door gasket seal for black mould/gunge . may help to leave the powder draw slightly open and the machine door open to aid good air flow,the mould will thrive in moist wet conditions
