thetford toilet flush?

i have thetford c200 the 1 with the swivel bowl on my boat
the water wont come out in the bowl,pumps pumping away but wont come out,i can see another electric gadget inside behind where it should come out is this whats broke
how does it all work
if someone knows would be much appreciated
