when switched on machine drain pump starts to run and
programme switch just keeps clicking around

i had this problem with Ariston A1324
- turn off and disconnect
- remove front bottom skirt (ease off from sides by inserting a wide blade screwdriver)
-Raise machine if poss on phone books or like, to get receptacle under water outlet
- open circular cover to pump
- water will come out now so stick tray and paper down
- be careful with your fingers
- fiddle around inside pump blades to find blockage (in our case 2 coins and a bit of sock!)
- close circular cover
- try again
