lights flashing on a washing machine, how do i cancel?

my hotpoint aquarius washers rinse hold button and time saver button wont turn off. i suspect my 3yr old grandson has pressed some buttons but i dont know how to cancel them. HELP please :)

Hi,
Try switching off the wall socket so that no power is going to the machine. It might reset it when you switch it back on.
