How can i over-ride the Myson thermostat's PIN number?

I have a Myson thermostatic control in my house and for some reason it is asking me to input a PIN number before it will let me change the temperature? Unfortunately it is locked on high and you guessed we are cooking!

Alright, I've figured this out.

The PIN prompt will disappear if you do a hardware reset on the device, which is performed as follows:

1. Remove one of the batteries and wait 40 seconds.
2. After 40 seconds have elapsed, re-insert the battery whilst holding down the on/off button and wait for another 40 seconds, keeping the button held down.
3. After 40 seconds have elapsed, four dashes should appear on the display. At this point, release the on/off button, remove the battery again and wait for another 40 seconds.
4. Re-insert the battery

The thermostat should then prompt you to enter the time and select the current day. Once you've done this, the thermostat should start to work as normal again.

I'm experiencing the same problem here. Any ideas, anyone?
