It would help if you wrote the details properly, I assume that fnp means F&P or Fisher & Paykel. If so then code 9 means that the size has not been set in to the controller. The same control box is used on all sizes of the same model so the controller needs to know if it is controlling a 5kg 6kg or 7kg machine. They all have different water levels etc. The new controller would of had an instruction sheet with it. Read it and it will tell you how to set the size in to the memory.
