dimmer switch?

my fan lights will not turn off with remote switch.

the triac in a dimmer switch will not handle the high start up torgue of the fan motor starting up,it will blow it to bits ,dont beleive me,try it

you cant use a dimmer switch to control a fan,you need proper speed control switch
