material will not feed through machine?

i put the pressure foot down on the material but when i begin to sew the machine will not pull the material through have tried adjusting foot pressure screw but it does not make any difference can anyone help please the machine is a Bernina minimatic 807

With the presser foot down on the material you shouild not be able to pull the material through if the teeth are in the up position, if you can then you need more pressure on the foot, if you can't get the pressure on the foot take the long spring out of nthe presser bar and stretch it a bit then put it back, make sure the teeth are coming just above the needle plate when up.
