how can i open the door of my washing machine?

the washer door won't open even though the cycle has finished and it says end on the control panel .it has never hapened before. it is a bush washer, model number WM-1470TVE

make sure pump filter is not blocked and the machine has drained down,if so plug out machine and wait for 10 mins and it will open
