I have purchased and installed a Dual XD7500. When I first turned it on everything seemed to work ok except for a crackle sound in the speakers and then no sound at all. I removed the player and double checked all the wireing. Everything is in order, the same process keeps happening. At first there's sound with some static and then nothing. The display and player work fine, just no sound. I have gone 2 weeks w/out music and drive 1 hour each way to work. HELP!

Hi James,

If you purchased it recently take it back immediately.

Seems it may be the internal amplifier that could have blown.

That is if your CD player has a built in amplifier.
Secondly check it was installed correctly in the first place.
It it was installed by a trader, tell them about the problem.
