rear brakes failed DOE?

Hi, 2006 kangoo 1.5 dsl, failed DOE, rear brakes only 20%, need 55%to pass.... any ideas

could be that load sensing valve is siezed or wants adjusting!

strip off the hubs.then working on 1 side only
then need to inspect the lining thickness this maybe worn/replacement set maybe needed.
you need to adjust the linings up till they are just rubbing on the drum(called drag)
need to check both wheel cylinders pistons are working
need to check lub handbrake cable linkage in the drum back plates

should now be capable of passing a mot test
