CG is completely incorrect and could cause you serious problems if you heed their advice. It is the OIL that determines the dilution ratio a machines requires and NOT the machine. In the past- yes, most 2-stroke oil was poor quality mineral oil, and generally it was recommended it was diluted and a ratio of 25:1. However over the past 15 or so years, oil manufacturers have produced better quality oils- semi synthetic and fully synthetic, which require much less oil to produce the same (if not better) results than older types of oils. Therefore you should buy a good quality 2-stroke oil from a reputable manufacturer and then read what the recommended dilution ratio is on the BOTTLE, and only dilute at that ratio and you won't have any problems.
