Looks like the uninstaller got corrupted.
In cases like that, it's often usefull to reinstall the application then un-install it.
If that don't work, you can do it the dirty way:
Manualy delete the folder containing the application and the short-cuts.
You then use a registry cleaner to remove the now obsolete registry entries. CCleaner is very good at that task and is free for personal use. It will also find and remove any short-cuts that you may have missed.
