I've experienced a similar problem on our Blomberg which is due to a small chamber on the back of the drum getting blocked - it's purpose is to confirm to the machine that the water is pumped out before the next stage of the cycle, (spin), can commence. It, or the pipe leading from it get blocked with powder gunk and the cloths stay wet.

Isolate the machine from electrical supply. Remove back panel and look for the small plastic container on the lower left part of the drum. Pull it away from the drum, It's a push fit, and undo the tube clip. Give it a good clean and replace. Hope this cures your problem.
