Remeha Avanta Plus 28c - E8 fan error?

Hi ,have an E8 error on my boiler. Looked up the error in the error table and it says fan fault. Is there a quick fix other than replacing the fan? Any ideas please!

Check the lead to the fan if all ok reset and wait for it to purge. Also no gas or no gas supply can have an affect.
